Tandoori chicken

While we do have a tandoor at home, we allowed it to get rained on a little with the lid open, and ended up making this chicken in the oven. The good news is, it comes out just as great roasted 🙂 I used chicken thighs instead of cornish hens to make this recipe.

The marinade comes directly from this Serious Eats recipe. At first glance, it feels like way too much salt, but it all worked out in the end.

Oven roasted for 20-25 mins on each side, and finished under the broiler for 2 minutes.
