Seven Spice Impossible Meatballs
Yup, all vegetarian & delicious!
Ingredient list: Mix all these, form about 16 balls, set in fridge for 10mins. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 425.
- 12oz pack Impossible meat
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- Small knob ginger, grated
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp Seven Spice
- 1/2 tsp sesame seeds
Once balls come out of their 10min chilling, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake 12 mins, flipping them halfway through.
Sauce: Simmer these ingredients together while prepping meatballs:
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 1/3 cup water
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp miso paste
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tsp sriracha
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- Dash of white pepper
- Splash of rice vinegar
Serve with rice, or banh mi style. We ate these on pretzel rolls!
