Green peas and chile soup
This might be the easiest “dump and go” soup I’ve ever made.
Layer ingredients in a souping blender.
Wait for the magic
Stir in some sour cream & enjoy!
- 1 lb frozen green peas
- 1 4 oz can chopped mild hatch chiles
- 1 tsp frozen or fresh chopped cilantro leaves
- 1/2″ ginger root
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 cup broth (I used beef broth. Use veg broth to make it vegetarian)
Add all ingredients to souping blender like Instant Pot Ace. Serve with sour cream.
Alternately, cook on stove top till peas are tender. Puree with immersion blender.
